Do what makes you happy, always. That’s it. Oftentimes as you go through life and you’re in relationships—no matter what type of relationship it is, be it love, business, friendship, it doesn’t matter—oftentimes you sacrifice self for someone else’s happiness. I have learned as I've matured in life to do what makes me happy and allow other people to adapt and adjust to my happiness as opposed to me adjusting to their happiness. That’s how I deal. And when I say, “Do what makes me happy,” it doesn’t necessarily mean that I have to be not mindful of someone else’s feeling, but that should not be my deciding factor. Happiness within yourself is more important, because if you’re not happy, you can’t make anybody else happy. So keep you happy—do what makes you happy, be what makes you happy, and life is so much better because of it.
